A beautiful makeover starts with the right base/foundation. Unless you are
blessed with naturally flawless skin, you must wear a base that will allow you to create the illusion of having flawless skin. Your base must fit like a second skin.
The perfect makeover is similar to a work of art. Just like the artist who primes his canvas to mask the imperfections, we also need to do the same – with foundation. The ideal base must have full coverage but should not leave your skin looking pink, orange, ashy or two-toned. It must be totally natural-looking.
The only color on the face should come from blush, eye shadow, lipstick, lip gloss, mascara or eye liner. Foundation should be used as a “primer” to create the canvas, not to add color!
Always buy makeup according to your skin type. If you buy a brand that doesn’t suit our skin type then yo may not have the right foundation on our face.
First prepare your skin to apply a base. Moisturize your face before applying a base. Without moisturizer your skin might look artificial and unpleasant, as the skin tries to soak in the base. Also by proper moisturizing the base doesn’t crack easily and looks flawless and natural.
For oily skin, always use oil free products and never hesitate to apply them directly. since oily skin needs more moisture to apply makeup.
Always use a right tone of foundation according to your skin. You can also take a help of professional to choose products that suit your skin type.
If you have blemishes, then use a liquid or cream foundation. Generally, cream foundations have more coverage.
If you need to conceal severe skin blemishes such as marks, acne, tattoos, vitiligo or rosacea, then you need to use maximum coverage camouflage concealer. This too needs to be yellow based to ensure a natural-looking, flawless finish.
When you have created the look of having flawless-looking skin, you can then explore your creativity with your cheek, lip and especially your eye colors.
