Its very necessary to know your skin type to take good care of it. Dry skin usually feels tight and uncomfortable after washing and is more prone to sensitivity. Hydrating Masks can be beneficial for dry and dull skin. Also take milk bath once a week to sooth the dry skin. Here are some home made facial masks for dry skin.
MILK CREAM & TURMERIC MASK
1/2 tsp Rosewater
1 tblsp Thick Milk Cream
A pinch Turmeric Powder
To thick milk cream, add a small pinch of turmeric. Apply this on your face and arms, and keep as such for a couple of hours. Bath with warm water and soap and wash off till all the residue of cream has gone. This will leave your skin radiant and glowing. You can also add 1/2 tsp of rosewater to the cream; this will leave your skin radiant and glowing.
FULLER’S EARTH MASK
Make a paste of multani mitti or fuller’s earth and a little cream and spread it gently on the face. Let it dry for about an hour. Then wash your face with cold water and see how fresh and clean your face looks.
HONEY AND EGG YOLK MASK
1 tsp Egg Yolk
1 tsp Honey
Few drops of Olive Oil or Vitamin E Oil
Mix 1 tsp of egg yolk with 1 tsp honey. Add a few drops of olive oil or Vitamin E oil. Mix it thoroughly and spread over the face evenly. Let it dry for at least an hour, rinse and dry. Your skin will display a new radiance.
HONEYS AND OATMEAL MASK
Mix ground oatmeal and honey. Apply this evenly all over the face. Let it dry and then rinse it off. Your skin will display a new radiance.
VARIOUS FRUIT MASKS
Among the fruits, you can puree to apply on the dry facial skin avocado, pear, orange, grape and nectarine. If your skin is very dry, avoid orange and lime totally.
WATERMELONS AND PAPAYA MASK
2 small pieces of Papaya
a little Milk Cream.
Take some steam on face. Then mix the watermelon, papaya, banana and cream into a paste and apply it on face and massage. Keep for 15-20 minutes then wash with cold water.
Mash strawberry and mix it with starch and apply on face.
